Description:

Parchisi, a dice-based board game belonging to the cross and circle genre, serves as an adaptation of the traditional Indian game, pachisi. Historically, Parchís enjoyed immense popularity in Spain and across Europe, as well as in Moroccan cities such as Tangiers and Tetouan. Today, it continues to attract a diverse player base, particularly among adults and seniors. While the game incorporates elements of chance through dice rolling, it necessitates strategic thinking, as players must effectively maneuver their four pawns to achieve victory. Furthermore, Parchisi is recognized by various names in different cultures.

The game accommodates two to four players, using two dice and four tokens per participant. The standard American Parchesi boards feature 68 spaces, with 12 designated as safe zones. Each player's starting area is located at one corner of the board. Parchisi has also found its way into popular culture, being referenced in numerous films and television episodes.
